PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic exhibiting fresh feeling at coating, and having excellent preservation stability. SOLUTION: The water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic contains (A) a water-soluble polysaccharide, (B) a polyhydric alcohol-fatty acid ester type surfactant having≤6 HLB value and liquid at 25°C, (C) a hydrogenated lecithin and (D) a volatile silicone.
