<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer instrument that has high assembling workability and supplies electric power to a light source of a pointer body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This pointer instrument M includes a displaying means 1, a driving body 2 arranged on the backside of the displaying means 1, the pointer body 6 having an arm 3 mounted to a rotation shaft 26 of the driving body 2 and bypassing the displaying means 1, and having a pointer section 5 disposed in the arm 3, a first light source 7 that is arranged in the pointer body 6 and illuminates the pointer section 5. The pointer instrument M includes a circuit board 8 arranged on the back side of the displaying means 1, a second light source 9 mounted to the circuit board 8, a flexible substrate 10 arranged in the arm 3 and mounted with the first light source 7, and a photodiode 11 that is mounted to the flexible substrate 10, receives light emitted from the second light source 9, and supplies electric power to the first light source 7.
