<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical polymer applicable to a transistor that facilitates fabrication of a device by using an organic solvent. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The helical polymer includes a polymerized moiety and a non-conjugate moiety and a conjugate moiety in a side chain and at least partially contains a structure of the non-conjugate moiety interposed between the polymer moiety and the conjugate moiety. The helical polymer at least partially contains a block having such a structure that the non-conjugate moiety is an alkyl chain 103, the conjugate moiety is an aromatic ring, the polymerization site is an acetylene skeleton, and an organic molecule having a non-conjugate moiety is polymerized in a side chain, or at least partially contains a block having such a structure that an organic molecule having a conjugate moiety is polymerized in a side chain.
