<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connection method for a superconductive conductor having excellent conductivity and a connection member which can shorten a connection operation time by eliminating the complication of a connection operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The connection method for a superconductive conductor has a plurality of superconductive strands, and a conduit for housing the plurality of superconductive strands inside. The connection method for a superconductive conductor includes a step of exposing at least a part of the plurality of superconductive strands by removing conduit ends of two superconductive conductors, a step of inserting at least a part of the plurality of superconductive strands exposed from two superconductive conductors at both ends of the connection member formed in a cylindrical shape and having a superconductive conductor material, and a step of crimping by adding pressure from an outer peripheral surface of the connection member to its center axis and integrating the connection member and at least a part of the plurality of superconductive strands.
