PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excitement and enjoyment from being decreased by appropriately carrying out an expectation performance about a jackpot. SOLUTION: The game machine 1 grants win/loss determination random numbers provided to win/loss determinations about a jackpot on the basis of entrance of game balls into start pockets. The win/loss determinations about a jackpot are made by comparing the obtained win/loss determination random numbers with a plurality of jackpot values set so as to make a jackpot to be won with predetermined one probability of winning. Performances relating to the progress of a game include: a win/loss suggestion performance suggesting the result of a win/loss determination subject to materialization of prescribed start conditions when the win/loss determination random number is obtained; and a preceding performance preceding the progress of the game with prescribed probability without regard to both the materialization of the prescribed start conditions and the win/loss determination when the win/loss determination random number is obtained.
