<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making sliding device which demonstrates a nonconventional action effect, and to provide electronic equipment using the sliding device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sliding device connects a first member 1 with a second member 2 superimposed and arranged in the first member 1 in such a manner that both members are freely slidable in a direction of a superimposed surface, and the sliding device is provided with: a recessed guide part 3 which becomes a projected state to a superimposed surface 1A of the first member 1 or a superimposed surface 2A of the second member 2, and is set so that an opening direction turns to the direction of the superimposed surface; and a sliding part 5 which is provided in the second member 2 or the first member 1, and slidably engages with the guide part 3, wherein a sheet object 6 having a low friction surface with friction resistance lower than that of the surface of a sliding part is arranged to form a low friction sliding surface 7 at a sliding part of at least one of the guide part 3 and the sliding part 5.
