A method and a device are provided for changing at least one first network element in a pool of first network elements, wherein said pool of first network elements is associated with at least one second network element, the method comprising the steps of (i) the at least one second network element is identified; and (ii) an interface between the at least one first network element and the at least one second network element is configured or set up. Furthermore, a communication system is suggested comprising said device.
