A method and an apparatus for creating guide channel and background music are provided, wherein the method comprises: receiving original mixed music of a song and MIDI data, wherein the MIDI data being pitches of note sections constituting a main vocal part of the song, and the original mixed music being mixed by the music data of the professional singer's performance of the song and background music; processing the original mixed music based on the MIDI data to remove the background music; and outputting the processed original mixed music as a guide channel of the song.
