CATALYST FOR CLEANING AUTOMOBILE EXHAUST GAS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for cleaning automobile exhaust gas, in which ruthenium of an atomic state is deposited in a satisfactorily highly dispersed state and which has satisfactorily high catalytic activity.

SOLUTION: The catalyst for cleaning automobile exhaust gas is provided with a carrier and the ruthenium supported on the carrier in the atomic state by using a ruthenium carboxylate binuclear complex. The ruthenium of ≥50 atomic% is supported on the carrier as a diatomic cluster of ruthenium.
