<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an injection device for a syringe, including a housing for a syringe, a needle shroud covering the needle, and a syringe carrier carrying the syringe, in which the snap engagement of the needle shroud with part of the housing prevents the needle shroud from retreating to its rearward position. <P>SOLUTION: The needle shroud includes at least one finger extending through an abutting portion within the housing. The finger is disposed and designed to become bent gradually, as the needle shroud moves from the rear to front positions, and to return to its natural or original shape when the tip reaches the front of the abutting portion, which thus prevents the needle shroud from retreating rearward after returning to the forward position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
