PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device capable of compatibly establishing accomplishment of a request driving force and reduction of the shifting frequency. SOLUTION: If a driving force judging part 114 judges that the target driving force as the request driving force is greater than the reference driving force in the present gearing range, further a torque judging part 115 judges whether the target torque is greater than the maximum torque or not. If the target torque is judged smaller than the maximum torque by the judgement above, the rate of the gasoline injection amount is increased by a fuel injection amount control part 118, and if the target torque is judged as equal to or greater than the maximum torque, the automatic transmission 15 is put in the shift-down control. Accordingly no shifting takes place in case the target torque is judged smaller than the maximum torque, so that the shifting frequency can be decreased, and an associated increase in the gasoline injection amount allows accomplishment of the request driving force.
