PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus which is improved in efficiency for collecting diagnostic image data to inhibit an ultrasonic probe from generating heat. SOLUTION: In order to perform a 3D scan synchronized with heart beats, a driving regulation part 9, which regulates a method for driving a transmission/reception part 2, is based on a variation in respiratory waveform collected from a subject with temporarily stopped respiration to prevent a biosignal detector 7 from being influenced by the bodily movement to automatically change a method for driving a low-power photographing mode to produce a monitoring image data into a method for driving a high-power photographing mode to produce a diagnosing image data having an excellent S/N. Furthermore, the driving regulation part 9 is based on information about the early trigger state or a late trigger state collected by the biosignal detector 7 to automatically change the method for driving a high-power photographing mode into the method for driving a low-power photographing mode.
