PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment control system capable of easily changing a control range to which the equipment belongs, when a plurality of control devices each control the equipment by control ranges. SOLUTION: A controller 2 causes a control range information storage section 2c for storing first control range information, including all the equipment 4 existing in its own area as a control target, second control range information including all the equipment 4 existing in its own area and some of the equipment 4 of all the equipment existing in the areas of the other controllers as a control target; and third control range information, including the equipment 4, excluding some of the equipment from all the equipment existing in own area as a control target. A control section 2e controls the equipment 4 subordinate thereto from the equipment, to be controlled in the control range information selected by the control range selecting section 2d; transmits a control request to another controller 2, with respect to the equipment 4 subordinate to the other controller 2 out of the equipment to be controlled; and controls the equipment 4 subordinate thereto if receiving a control request.
