<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit for a power supply control capable of controlling the increase of the number of parts and a mounting area accompanied by an increased number of lamps of LEDs and of preventing the occurrence of irregularity to the brightness of the screen of an LCD panel using the LEDs as backlights. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit for a power supply control drives a switching element (SW1) for supplying a current to an inductor intermittently and constitutes an LED-driving power supply unit which rectifies the current flowing in the inductor to generate a drive current of the LEDs. This circuit includes a plurality of external terminals, which get a current for each of a plurality of LED units; a plurality of current sources (CS1, CS2) each connected to a plurality of external terminals; and an error amplification circuits (11a, 11b), which output voltages according to potential differences between the voltages of the plurality of external terminals and a predetermined reference voltage. Drive pulses of the switching element are generated based on an output corresponding to the lowest voltage of the external terminals of a plurality of outputs of the error amplification circuits.
