PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit a complicated operation for selecting a recording medium in a recording device including a plurality of recording media. SOLUTION: When a network connection circuit 42 is not connected to a network, a CPU 18 selects a removable recording medium 48 as a recording destination. When the network connection circuit 42 is connected to the network, the CPU 18 selects an incorporated recording medium 46 as a recording destination.
