PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving electromagnetic relay which is excellent in response characteristic. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay makes both ends of a movable contactor 63 supported on one end of a drive shaft 61 reciprocated in the axial direction on the basis of the excitation and demagnetization of an electromagnet block 30 touch with and separate from a pair of arranged fixed contact terminals 52, 53. Especially, the electromagnetic relay is provided with a cross-sectioned approximately V-shaped leaf spring 66 inserted into the drive shaft 61 and a coil spring 65 inserted into the drive shaft 61 so as to locate between the movable contactor 63 and the leaf spring 66 and urging the movable contactor 63 to a fixed contact terminals 52, 53 side. Furthermore, when the movable contactor 63 compresses the coil spring 65 by abutting on the fixed contact terminals 52, 53, a lower surface of the movable contactor 63 is pushed to the fixed contact terminal 52, 53 sides at both ends of the leaf spring 66.
