ORGANIC EL DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an electron hole injection characteristics of laminated organic EL display device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The organic EL display device has: a base board 10; a first electrode 40 with one principal face to be an anode and the other principal face to be a cathode; a second electrode 20 which is the cathode; a first organic layer 30 pinched by the principal face to be a cathode of the first electrode and the second electrode; a third electrode 60 which is the cathode; and a second organic layer 50 pinched by the principal face to be the anode of the first electrode and the third electrode. A work function of the principal face to be the anode of the first electrode is arranged to be higher than that of the principal face to be the cathode of the first electrode.
