<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera waterproof case mechanism which can avoid the effect of backlash at a hinge portion while adopting a simple structure made of only a single waterproof member, and which has a simple, watertight and complete structure against twisting or kinking. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The camera waterproof case forms an accommodation space for accommodating a camera inside in a watertight manner by: coupling openably/closably one of side edge parts of a housing body and a back lid body by hinge coupling; providing a lock mechanism to lock or unlock the housing body and the back lid body at the other side edge parts of the housing body and of the back lid body; and closely connecting whole opening inner periphery of the housing body and the back lid body through a waterproof member. The camera waterproof case is characterized in that a pair of male projections and a pair of female uneven portions are integrally provided on the other side edge parts of the housing body and of the back lid body, and when the housing body is covered with the back lid body at a fixed position, both are engaged with each other.
