PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease erroneous operations of function selection keys without changing the arrangement of these keys on a display screen. SOLUTION: A function selection display part 13 displays within a predetermined area the arrangement of the function selection keys 13a to 13j used for selecting a plurality of functions of the electronic device A. A mode change instructing part 15 is located at the outside of the predetermined area of the function selection display part 13, and has mode change keys 15a to 15c that receive an instruction to change the mode for the function selection keys 13a to 13j set in advance. When the mode alteration keys 15a to 15c of the mode change instructing part 15 are operated, a change control section 19 controls the change of the mode in the function selection display part 13 without changing the arrangement of the function selection keys 13a to 13j, on the basis of a mode change function assigned to the mode change keys 15a to 15c in advance.
