PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance water-proofing function in electronic equipment which can be used underwater. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes a cover 2 for covering an aperture part of a storing chamber formed in a body, and includes a lock mechanism 3 for locking the cover 2 at a closing position. The cover 2 has a cover part 21 covering the aperture part, a support part 22 supporting the cover part 21 openably/closably relative to the body and also covering a back surface of the cover part 21, and a sealing member 24 sealing the aperture part when the cover 2 is closed. Through-holes 213 and 224a in which components of the lock mechanism 3 are arranged are formed at the cover part 21 and the support part 22 respectively. The cover 2 has a plate member 23, a hook 231 and a screw hole 232 further. The plate member 23 is interposed between the support part 22 and the sealing member 24, and covers the through-hole 224a.
