<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear bumper of a large motor truck having no risk of being damaged when the rear bumper collides with an obstacle from the ground surface, not only when a loading platform tilts but also when a bound is caused during traveling when a traffic quantity is small and undulations are intense such as a mountain road. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This rear bumper of the motor truck has the rear bumper 8 connected to a chassis frame 4 in an aboveground height in a limiting range and in an inside position in the limiting range from the loading platform rear end in a rear part of a loading platform 3 of the chassis frame 4. The chassis frame 4 and the rear bumper 8 are connected via a rotary arm 24 journaling one end to the chassis frame 4 side so that the rear bumper 8 jumps up and moves to the chassis frame 4.
