The invention relates to a sealing device that forms an annular band intended to be joined to a rim for a wheel designed to receive a tyre, said rim being constituted of a rim bottom extended by two flanges, said device being intended to be placed in order to cover at least the rim bottom. According to the invention, the annular band comprises at least an elastomeric material comprising at least one thermoplastic elastomer copolymer with polystyrene and polyisobutylene blocks, and a polybutene oil. The invention also relates to a fitted assembly consisting of a wheel comprising a rim joined to a sealing device and of a tubeless tyre. The invention further relates to a process for placing a sealing device on a rim.
