<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacked ceramic capacitor that implements little electrostriction leading to reduction in noise-making phenomenon, and high adhesive strength between dielectric ceramics and internal electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The stacked ceramic capacitor includes a plurality of stacked dielectric ceramic layers of dielectric ceramics mainly consisting of a barium-titanate-based perovskite solid solution represented by the formula: BaTi<SB>x</SB>Zr<SB>(1-x)</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, where 0.6≤x≤0.95, the internal electrodes formed between the dielectric ceramic layers, and external electrodes electrically connected to the internal electrodes. Dielectric ceramics 2 sandwiched between the internal electrodes 1 in the direction of stacking have a grain size of 80 to 350 nm, and dielectric ceramics 3 existing in discontinuous portions of the internal electrodes 1 between the dielectric ceramic layers have a grain size 2.0 to 6.0 times that of the dielectric ceramics 2 sandwiched between the internal electrodes 1 in the direction of stacking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
