<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and smoothly select desired service from among, for example, a plurality of contactless communication services. <P>SOLUTION: A contactless communication/holding direction detection antenna 31 has antennas for contactless communication and for detecting a holding direction, a contactless communication control part 30 detects, when held over a contactless communication reader/writer, the direction of the held housing surface from a reception level of the antenna 31.
