PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizer ring comprising characteristics such as excellent friction and wear resistance, a large coefficient of dynamic friction coefficient relative to a counter member to synchronize two gears by frictionally engaging with a tapered part as a counter member, and wear-resistance in slide along the counter member. SOLUTION: This synchronizer ring 1 comprises an annular ring body 2, a friction material 4 integrally joined with a cylindrical inner peripheral surface 3 of the ring body 2, a conical surface 5 formed in the inner surface of the friction material 4, and a plurality of annular grooves 6 formed in the conical surface 5 of the friction material 4.
