OBJECT WITH PHOTO-CATALYST COATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object with a photo-catalyst coating which demonstrates harmful-gas-degrading properties while preventing deterioration of a base material over a prolonged period, without coloring when adding or during using even if an amine dispersed photo-catalyst sol is used. SOLUTION: The object includes: a base material; an intermediate layer established on the base material; and a photo-catalyst layer established on the intermediate layer. The photo-catalyst layer is formed by drying after applying a coating solution which contains photo-catalyst sol containing: photo-catalyst particles comprising metal oxide excited by ultraviolet radiation; and an amine. The intermediate layer contains a weather-resistant resin and a hydroxyphenyltriazine compound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
