PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable visible dot and line to be displayed at a prescribed position in space. SOLUTION: A laser beam is brought to focus at the prescribed position by using a plasma generating device 30, thereby generating tiny particles such as water vapor and the like on this focus position. Then straight line light is emitted by a straight-line light generating device 20, so as to pass through the focus position, thereby enabling the straight line light to be visible, which is reflected by the tiny particles diffused near the focus position. Furthermore, in the case of displaying the line, the focus position F is moved along the line by using the plasma generating device 30, and the straight line light is continuously emitted to the focus position F by the straight-line light generating device 20 so as to synchronize with the plasma generating device 30.
