PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge and discharge control method and a charge/discharge system of a battery pack consisting of alkali storage batteries, which can prevent the deterioration of a battery formation material and prevent a memory effect while maintaining the high output. SOLUTION: The battery pack has a plurality of battery blocks including at least one alkali storage battery and connected in parallel, and a current regulating means capable of regulating the value of the current flowing through each battery block.
