PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid lens apparatus capable of suppressing reduction in liquid along with the lapse of time and preventing occurrence of bubbles in sealing the liquid. SOLUTION: In the liquid lens apparatus, a conductive first liquid A3 and an insulative second liquid B4, which are substantially equal to each other in density and different from each other in refractivity, are held inside a cell 17 without mixing them mutually, and when changing the shape of an interface between them, a focal position is changed.
