PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device displaying a guide arrow by which a user can easily understand, while controlling an increase of the amount of data. SOLUTION: A CPU 132 of the navigation device 1 includes: an intersection shape figuring-out part 132a for figuring out the shape of an intersection based on the current position information, an arrow selection part 132b for selecting an arrow required for re-creating a shape near the shape of the intersection figured out by the intersection shape figuring-out part 132a from arrows pointing the basic directions, and a display unit control part 132c for controlling a display unit 16 so that the guide arrows displaying the guiding direction of the intersection in advance are displayed with a combination of the arrows pointing the basic directions selected by the arrow selection part 132b.
