<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf support device which is simply-structured and portable and can supply appropriate information. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device has an information indicating means (paper) for indicating a hole lay-out of a golf course, a hole information storage means for storing at least information on the distance from a tee ground and a cup as hole information corresponding to the hole lay-out indicated by the information indicating means, a club input means for inputting a club to use after deciding it by seeing the hole lay-out indicated by the information indicating means, a speed measuring means for measuring the speeds of a golf ball and a club head moving with a swing of a golf club, a distance calculating means for calculating an estimated carry based on a coefficient corresponding to the club designated by the club input means and the speeds measured by the speed measuring means, a means for calculating the remaining carry to the cup from the estimated carry, and a display means for displaying the calculated remaining carry.
