<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording apparatus which detects in advance the possibility of failure occurrence due to particles in a disk apparatus by detecting the generation of the particles therein. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Mass sensors 8a to 8c arranged in a path of an air flow inside the housing due to spinning of the recording medium are arranged in a disk apparatus having a disk medium 2 arranged in the housing 1 and a head 5 facing the disk medium for writing/reading information.
