<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like member contributing to improve an operability of attachment to other members, while coping with miniaturization and a holding device suitable for holding the plate-like member when the plate-like member is attached to other members. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plate-like member includes a long plate-like body; a first recessed portion which is provided as a part of the body and recessed in the shorter direction of the body, and regulates the relative position of the body and a first member in the shorter direction, in such a manner that the first member of the holding device holding the body by a member in the shorter direction is pushed to come into contact with the bottom of the recessed shape; and a second recessed portion which is provided as a part of the body at a place at a distance from the first recessed portion in a longer direction and recessed in the shorter direction, and regulates the relative position of the body and a second member in both longer and shorter directions, in such a manner that the second member different from the first member in the holding device is pushed to come into contact with at least two places of the recessed shape.
