<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adapt an application program even when hardware, an OS or middleware as the foundation of the system is changed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This production system is provided with: hardware 1 including a processor and a memory; an OS 2; production system virtual base software 4 operating on the OS 2 or the middleware 3 for virtualizing the API(Application Program Interface) of the OS 2; and a production system application program 5 using the virtualized API. The virtualized API changes a parameter received from the production system application program 5 according to the call format of the API.
