<p>Appts for bringing a liquid disperse phase into contact with a gaseous continuous phase, of the known type having a space surrounded by a casing-type wall provided with separate liquid and gas feed inlets at one end and with separate liquid and gas discharge outlets at the other end and contg. one or more components for imparting a rotary motion to the floating dispersion, while in addition it is surrounded by an outer casing wall of greater length at the top end and delimiting an annular space which can be used for the additional discharge of liquid collecting at the top end and has a liquid discharge at the lower end, incorporating the improvement whereby one or more and pref. at least three guide vanes are installed in the annular space, curved in such a way that the liquid is moving in a long spiral path in the annular space is deflected to a straighter path towards the lower or discharge end.</p> |
