<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent offset to the fixing members and curling of the recording medium in a two-liquid agglomerating method using ink and treatment liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The image formation apparatus for forming an image on the recording medium 12 using aqueous ink containing color material and treatment liquid containing an ingredient which agglomerates the color material includes: a liquid imparting part which imparts the treatment liquid on the recording medium 12; a drying part of the treatment liquid; an ink dropping part which drops the aqueous ink on the recording medium 12 with the treatment liquid imparted thereon from the image information; an ink drying part which dries the ink layer formed on the recording medium by agglomerating reaction between the dropped ink and the treatment liquid; and a fixing part which fixes the dried ink layer on the recording medium by heat and pressure, the ink drying part keeping the remaining amount of the ink-derived water of the dried ink layer formed on the recording medium 12 at 4.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
