<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery having improved high-temperature characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery comprises a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22, and electrolyte, wherein a separator 23 is provided between the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 22 in the state of being impregnated with the electrolyte. Solvent of the electrolyte contains main solvent such as halogenated cyclic carbonic acid ester and sub solvent such as carbonic acid ester dimer. Compared with one which does not contain both the main solvent and the sub solvent, it improves the chemical stability of the electrolyte to suppress the decomposition of the electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
