<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar garnish structure for smoothly deploying a curtain airbag. <P>SOLUTION: In this structure, an airbag deploying guide part 22 formed integrally with a pillar side at an upper end part of a pillar garnish is provided. The airbag deploying guide part 22 has a deploying guide wall 23 inclined downward from the cabin outside to the cabin inside, an inclined wall 24 which is continuous to a side arranged with a gas injection port, of either one of a vehicle front side or a vehicle rear side of the deploying guide wall 23, and is inclined downward in a direction in which the gas injection port is arranged, of either one of a vehicle front direction or a vehicle rear direction, and a sidewall 25a which is continuous to an opposite side of the deploying guide wall 23 of the inclined wall 24 and is substantially perpendicular to the vehicle longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
