<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of easily adjusting the amount of a reducing agent fed into an exhaust pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust pipe 11 forms an exhaust passage 12 through which exhaust gas is discharged from the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. An addition valve 16 is installed upstream of a catalyst part 14 provided in the exhaust pipe 11 and injects a fluid into the exhaust passage 12. A solution of the reducing agent fed with pressure by a pump 22 is injected from the addition valve 16 and is fed to the catalyst part 14 together with the exhaust gas so as to reduce the exhaust gas for its purification. On the way of a fluid passage 11, the reducing agent fed from a reducing agent storage part 31 is dissolved in a solvent by a reducing agent dissolving means 32, and the solution of the reducing agent is obtained. Dissolution of the reducing agent by the means 32 takes place on the way of the fluid passages 28 and 29, so that it is possible to easily prepare the solution in different concentrations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
