<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner, improving safety, and an air conditioner including it. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit 4 of the air conditioner 1 taking CO2 as a refrigerant is connected to an outdoor unit 2 through a refrigerant connecting pipe 10. The unit includes an indoor heat exchanger 42, an indoor motor-operated valve 41, an indoor solenoid valve 47, a CO2 sensor and an indoor control part. The indoor motor-operated valve 41 and the indoor solenoid valve 47 intercept the connection between the indoor heat exchanger 42 and the refrigerant connecting pipe 10. The CO2 sensor detects the quantity of CO2 in the air in a room. The indoor control part conducts a first control to cause the indoor motor-operated valve 41 and the indoor solenoid valve 47 to intercept when the CO2 sensor detects a predetermined quantity of CO2 in the air in the room. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
