PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable aerosol composition for preventing sunburn that can be easily discharged in a foam state and is not sticky to give an excellent feeling of use. SOLUTION: The foamable aerosol composition comprises a stock solution and a liquefied gas, where the stock solution is composed of an aqueous base agent containing an associated thickening agent and an oily base agent containing a lipophilic powder having its surface subjected to a water-repelling treatment, where the compounded amount of the associated thickening agent is 0.5-10 wt.% in the stock solution and the total amount of the oily base agent and the liquefied gas is 10-50 wt.% in the aerosol composition.
