PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder that outputs a recording result in which an image formed at the front face or the rear face of a transparent recording medium is not transparently viewed from the opposite face and only the image can visually be observed from its printed side, and to provide a recording method and an action control program. SOLUTION: In a printing method for forming an image, ink is applied on a transparent film P by using a printer 20 having a print head 36 including a first nozzle group A, a second nozzle group B and a third nozzle group C divisionally arranged in a sub-scanning direction. The printing method comprises the step S15 of printing a first layer X by ejecting color ink from the first nozzle group A to the transparent film P, the step S17 of printing a second shield layer Y for shielding the first layer X by ejecting white ink from the second nozzle group B, and the step S19 of printing a third layer Z so as to superpose it to the second shield layer by ejecting color ink from the third nozzle group C.
