<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator of an external liquid preparation which can be gas-sterilized, can impregnate an application surface with a disinfectant without touching the application surface, and allows a user to arbitrarily adjust the impregnation amount. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A disinfectant applicator 10 (the applicator of external liquid preparation) has a liquid tank 11 for sealing and storing the disinfectant 19 and a head section 21. An opening 11d of the liquid tank 11 is sealed by a sealant 18. The head section 21 has an outer tubular neck section 22 having a trigger section 25b and an application surface member 29. When the trigger section 25b is drawn along the axis direction K of a tubular neck section 14, a piercing section 25c within the outer tubular neck section 22 penetrates through the sealant 18, a convex section 16 of the tubular neck section 14 fits to the aperture 25d of the outer tubular neck section 22, and the head section 21 is fixed to the liquid tank 11.
