PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chloroprene latex exhibiting good heat-resistant adhesive strength without damaging the contact properties of a conventional chloroprene latex. SOLUTION: The chloroprene latex contains a copolymer of chloroprene with 2,3-dichlorobutadiene wherein the amount of the 2,3-dichlorobutadiene based on 100 pts.wt. of the chloroprene is 9-130 pts.wt., and provides a DSC measurement curve of the copolymer having one or more endothermic peaks between 50°C and 100°C except the endothermic peak present between 37°C and 45°C.
