<p>The device i.e. belt retractor (1), has a force limiting unit that is formed by a tension element i.e. flat metal band (7), where the band passes through a friction device (8) i.e. fixed bolt. One end of the tension element is rollable on the device based on the friction device. The force at other end of the element is controllable by an inertia mass (5) on the basis of friction device and as a function of vehicle deceleration. The element is rolled on the bolt in a screw-shaped manner and guided on the fixed bolt in a guide formed by a screw-shaped limiting rib (12) running on the bolt.</p> |
