<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording reaction liquid suitable for a type of pigmented ink having both functions of an electrostatic repulsive force by its ionic material and a solid repulsive force by its nonionic material, which improves bleeding, causes no strike-through, and enables formation of a favorable image balancing color fix with color development. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet recording reaction liquid, which is employed with a pigmented ink dispersion-stabilized by both an electrostatic repulsive force by its ionic material and a solid repulsive force by its nonionic material, causes reaction when it contacts the pigmented ink, including calcium salt or magnesium salt of 0.2 mol/l to 0.8 mol/l in concentration as calcium ion or magnesium ion and sulfuric acid or organic acid amine salt or liquid medium of 0.3 mol/l to 4.5 mol/l in concentration as ammonium ion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
