<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzer accepting specimen containers of different types and reducing the burden on users upon setting a specimen container. <P>SOLUTION: A blood analyzer 1 (analyzer) includes: a first specimen setting part 255a and a second specimen setting part 255b for holding a plurality of specimen containers 100 (long vials 101 and microtubes 102) of different types; a specimen aspiration part 21 for aspirating the specimen from the specimen container 100; a presence detection part 26 for detecting the presence of the specimen container 100 set in the specimen setting parts; and a CPU 51a for determining in which of the first specimen setting part 255a or the second specimen setting part 255b the specimen container is set based on the detection result of the presence detection part 26, and controlling the operation of the specimen aspiration part 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
