<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image recording and reproducing device capable of performing correction processing for a defective pixel at a reproduction device, without having to increase the capacity, sufficient to record defective pixel position information. <P>SOLUTION: The moving image recording and reproducing device 1 includes an imaging device 2 and a reproducing device 4. The imaging device 2 includes an imaging portion 11, a compressing portion 12 for compressing moving image data and metadata to generate compressed data, a defective pixel position recording portion 14 for detecting a defective pixel position, and a position data converting portion 15 for converting data of the defective pixel position into a metadata format. The compression portion records the data of the defective pixel position at the metadata of the moving image data. The reproducing device 4 includes an expansion portion 22 for converting the compressed data into the moving image data and the metadata, a defective pixel position detecting portion 24 for detecting the data of the defective pixel position from the metadata, a correction data creating portion 25 for creating correction data, based on the data of the defective pixel position, and a correction portion 23 for correcting the moving image data based on the correction data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
