PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-precision observation by bringing the tip of an objective lens into close contact with an optical element without damaging them even when an objective lens adapter is mounted on the tip of the objective lens. SOLUTION: The adapter 1 for objective lens is provided, which includes a fixing member 5 fixed to a lens barrel 4 of the objective lens 3, a tip member 6 including the optical element 9 brought into close contact with the tip face of the objective lens 3, and an elastic member 7 arranged between the tip member 6 and the fixing member 5 and energizing the optical element 9 in a direction for bringing the optical element 9 into close contact with the tip face of the objective lens 3.
