摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring the quantity of an in-vivo substance capable of measuring with easier operation than the usual method of measuring the quantity of in-vivo substance, and detecting even the in-vivo substance in a biological tissue. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A method provided for measuring the quantity of an in-vivo substance includes the steps of: irradiating an in-vivo substance with two near infrared femtosecond laser beams of different frequencies; detecting coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering light emitted from the in-vivo substance due to coincidence of the frequency difference between the two near infrared femtosecond laser beams with a natural frequency of the in-vivo substance; and measuring the quantity of the in-vivo substance based on a peak intensity of an obtained Raman scattering spectrum.
